Andrew was born on February 22, 1985 to Mary and Scott Campbell in San Diego, CA. Andrew attended Walterville Elementary and Thurston High School where he was an avid chess player and set the weightlifting squat record. He was passionate about animals, biking, hunting, camping, motorcycles, off-roading, photography, and anything that kept him outdoors. After graduating, Andrew joined the Air Force working on B52 bombers as a mechanic on the flight line. This fit with Andrew’s personality perfectly, he loved tinkering with things, always taking them apart and putting them together. He had an incredible intuition of how to fix things.
After the military he worked for Webfoot Property Services where he hung billboards, worked with heavy machinery, and did general contracting work. He was a very hard worker, and took great pride in that. His final job was wildland firefighting, which he loved because it was hard work, outdoors, and of course extremely dangerous. At the end of his life he was passionate about welding, leather work, biking, gardening, sewing, music, movies, and caring for his acre property.
Anyone who knew Andrew would describe him as one of a kind, and an incredibly caring soul. He was treasured by his family and will be greatly missed.
Andrew is survived by his Parents Scott and Mary, Sister Melissa, Niece Lenora, Nephew Aiden, Brother in law Andrew, Grandma Monte and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins he loved dearly.
The way Andrew described how he lived his life was to: Go all the way.
